Blaise Austen Zabini slowly wandered out of the boys toilets on the 6th floor of Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. It was dark outside and glowing light from the full moon beamed down trough the small windows out side the entrance to the bath room. Blaise had finished lessons ages ago and soon all the teachers in the school would be looking out for pupils who were not in their common room. Blaise was tired and his head was hurting, he couldn't be bothered with moaning teachers or annoying first years That's why he had come to the 6th floor in the first place, to get some peace and quiet! The good looking Slytherin boy dragged his feet along the corridor untill he came to a large window sill. He jumped up onto it and sat, looking through the thin glass that banged every time a gust of wind flew past it.
Blaise slowly tugged a peice of parchment out of his trouser pocket. He unravelled his scrunched up homework and peered at the writing on it. He tried to make out what it said, but the word kept on getting jumbled up. Blaise knew he had some sort of dyslexia but most people thought wizards couldn't get it, so Blaise never told anyone. He concentrated on the words more and more but nothing would make them clearer! With his anger her threw the homework across the corridor and placed his hands on his head. There was nothing he could do about it. He was an idiot!
Blaise pulled the sleeves of his black jumper over his hands and placed them back onto his head. He was still sat on the window ledge and he was beginning to feel the cold. It was winter and snow covered the once bright green grass, like a white blanket. Blaise slowly lifted his head to admire the snow six floors below him.

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco cursed loudly to himself as he stormed into the bathroom on the sixth floor. He hadn't been anywhere all day really, well not where he should've been anyway. He'd follow Potter for some of the morning, then for the rest he'd given up and followed the odd Slytherin he didn't recognise due to the Era clash. He hated all this confusion. It annoyed him to no end. Nothing made sense anymore. Then, to make things worse, people were staring to call him Gay Boy! He didn't know why. They couldn't possibly know! He rubbed his forehead in frustration before kicking one of the sinks in irritation.
With a scream he leapt back from the now broken sink, his shirt and tie soaked. He gritted his teeth and ufastened his tie before slowly unbuttoning his shirt. "Fucking brilliant!" He cursed softly to himself. Ever since he'd come to Hogwart's his life had - from Draco's point of view - gone from bad to worse. Now there was this, trapped in another dimention still not free of his crush and still not free of his father or his mission, somehow. He sighed, touching his right had to his left forearm. He couldn't deal with any of this right now.
Looking down at himself he shook his head a little as he turned and walked out of the bathroom. If he hadn't left his wand in his robes tucked up in the asronamy tower he would've spelled himself dry by now. Alas, he'd foolishly left it, something having distracted him. Though now, walking along the sixth floor corridor he couldn't remember what it was. No matter, it wasn't important anymore. He sighed softly and looked around before blinking and catching the thrown bit of parchment, his seeker reflexes finally getting some work. "Blaise?" He questioned as he approached the other, holding the piece of paper out to him. "You look troubled."

Blaise had been sat on the cold stone window ledge for what must of been around ten minutes. When he heard the angry footsteps of someone bounding down the corridor from the boys toilets, he has a few ideas who it would be. Draco! No surprise it was. He rolled his eyes when the light haired slytherin passed him the piece of parchment. Blaise snatched it out of his hand. He was embarrassed because his homework would of been a lot easier than Draco's as he was in a much lower class for mostly all the subjects they had chosen. "Erm, I'm ok." Blaise said a little shakily.
Anyway, Blaise knew that Draco wouldn't really be concerned about what was wrong with Blaise, as long as Blaise listened to Draco babbaling on about himself they would stay friends. It was pretty much a one way friendship between Blaise and Draco, or it had been uptill just now. Blaise would just listen. Today he thought that maybe Draco might care about what was wrong but probably not he would most likely just start talking about the "gay" rumours, which were of course true!
Blaise and Draco had been friends for god knows how long and they could tell each other anything, but sometimes Blaise was shy and kept a lot to himself. So when Draco said he looked troubled he turned his frown upside down. And foucused his eyes on Draco's wet shirt. "Why on earth are you soaking wet?" Blaise asked inquisitively.

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco's blue blotched silver eyes fixed upon Blaise for a moment. It was rare for him to care for other's but people like his mother and Blaise, his closest male frend, and Pansy who Draco hadn't seen for a while, they were currently the only people Draco felt like caring for. The only people he felt like he could care for, even te slightest, without having something fuck up on him. Like such happened whenever he went near Potter.
"If you're sure..." Draco replied to Blaises answer as he looked to the other carefully. He knew for 'friends' they didn't spend much time together, not recently anyway, so things got a little, just a little, troublesome. He gave the softest of sighs as he looked up and down the corridor for a moment, before moving to sit against te wal, basically underneath Blaise's legs.
He could already feel the water that soaked his upper body, moving down to coat his lower body. He pulled a mildly disgusted face as he looked up to Blaise before blinking at the other. He quirked a brow before smirking slightly. "I broke a sink." he replied in mild amusement before shifting a little to get comfortable. "So was that a regection note you threw? Detention or homework?" he stated with an amused look on his face.
He knew Blaise had, had some diffculty reading when they were younger, but had assumed Blaise had grown out of it during their fourth year at some point. Draco didn't know about muggle disorders such as dyslexia. He knew about things that happened to witches and wizard's, like burning their hands off and stuff, that was normal to him. Blaise what the only person he knew who'd ever had trouble reading, at least to Draco's knowledge Blaise was. If he knew how, he would deffinately help the other.

Blaise grinned when Draco said he broke the sink. It was the Sort of thing what Malfoy did. Blaise we starting to get a little more comfortable when Draco mentioned the bit of paper again! "Just homework." He sighed and shoved it back in his pocket, hoping that the conversation about it would end there. Blaise jumped down from the window sill, making sure no to jump on Draco's head. He walked across to the other side of the corridor and sat down directly opposite Draco.
Blaise's black jeans hung low at the back and the jumper he wore was baggy so his toned figure was not as viable. He wasn't very tall but he made up for that with his face. Blaise was quite an attractive young man but he didn't like to brag about it.
Blaise looked at Draco. It seemed that he was not the only troubled one! Blaise really thought that the rumours might of been getting to his friend. Soon they might start to get a bit out of hand, but in a way Blaise really doubted that, because in the past Malfoy had been notorious among the Slytherin girls for being a ladies man. Some people might of thought it had to believe that the Malfoy son was a homosexual. At first Blaise had found it weird but then he got used to it and it didn't bother him much. A friends a friend.

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco looked up to Blaise curiously before nodding a little as he watched the other put it away. "Alright." He nodded, instinctively ducking as Blaise jumped down. He tilted his head up slightly to look at the dark skinned boy as the other was now stood infront of him. His eyes almost automatically drifted over Blaise's appearance before he shifted a little, trying to look normal as Blaise sat opposite him.
Blaise was his friend, he knew that. He also knew Blaise was straight and respected that -- not to mention Harry Potter was the one who alway's got the Malfoy's attention. However, sometimes Draco couldn't help but think of -- or hope for -- Blaise as something more than a friend. This was one of those times. Not that he could help it, Blaise was pretty damn sexy. It wasn't fair, so many sexy guys in a place like this, and he couldn't have any of them.
Draco hated it. He gave a soft sigh as he sat there, his eyes drifting over Blaise once more before he looked up and down the corridor. "I don't like this time-clash thing much Blaise..." He mumbled, his right hand rubbing at his left arm as he sat there, tilting his head back against the window sill to look up at the ceiling. It was expected of him, of course, to bare the Dark Mark like his father. But he didn't want it. Not now, not ever.
He squeezed his left forearm slightly before letting go and looking at Blaise with a slightly raised eyebrow. He wished he only had one or two problems to deal with, not all three of these. Because they weren't even little problems. They were very big problems. Very very big problems that were now all muddled into one. It made him nervous and edgy. It made him worried and annoyed. Hell, it even made him depressed, or at least it was starting to.

Blaie sighed. He could feel his eyes shutting slowing but soon he opened them back up quickly. The days were getting sorter, and the nights longer so, just like alot of other people Blaise's body clock was mixed up, he didn't know weather he was comming or going and the time clash didn't help much ether! "Well everything happenes for a reason, yah know..." Blaise said lazily. Blaise was famous for his laid back approach to life. Alot of people thought he was one of the calmest Slytherins around. He thought of life as a soft boat ride, not a rough sail across a big ocean! Some people might of gotten annoyed at Blaise, but that's the way he is. Easy come, easy go!
When Blaise say Draco grasping his left arm he knew instantly that it was somthing to do with his Drak Mark. Blaise knew everything about Draco so he didn't really care that he was a death eater. Infact he found it kinda cool thats his best friend was that close to the Dark Lord. But he always thought that it must of been hard on Draco, being controlled like that! Sometimes he saw the fear in Draco's eyes, like he didn't want to be part of something so evil. Other times he seemed proud to be in with the darkest wizards around, he changed his mood alot, but Blaise was used to that by now!

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco's silvery orb's shifted momentarily before fixing upon Blaise as he heard the other's words. He raised a delicate aristocratically perfect eyebrow at the dark-haired boy before giving a slightly dramatic sigh as he slammed, yes slammed, his head back against the stone wall. "Sometimes I hate your reasoning Blaise..." Draco murmured as he closed his eyes. A soft sigh passed through his lips as he bent his legs, wrapping his arms around them. It was odd, how it looked as though the Slythrin Ice Prince wanted to appear so small in that corridor.
It was odd but true. Beside's, if they knew what was going through his mind they'd understand, but not even Blaise knew half of it. No, Draco knew the other had his own problems to bare. Besides, he had to keep something's to himself.Draco's mind was a maze of confusion. It hadn't always been like that, it had just grown into that as they'd all gotten older. Such confusion, such an appearance of a lost boy. For that's what he was, lost.
As he slowly opened his eyes, almost lazily, though gracefully, he tilted his head back to look at Blaise. To most his eyes would display nothing, but to those that knew him, really knew him, Draco's eyes were a map to what he wouldn't say. His boredom he'd felt a moment before was fading now as he pulled himself out of his own thoughts before he became lost. "Sometimes Blaise, I wish I wasn't Draco bloody Malfoy..." he muttered, so quiet Blaise would've had to have been focusing to hear the blond.
Draco rested his chin on his knees as he looked over to Blaise. His eyes were focused on the other as he tried to empty his mind, like his father had taught him all those years ago when he was young. These past few Summer's and Christmases he'd been glad that he could shut out the improper thoughts of boys so his father wouldn't know. Though as a child he'd seen no use in learning how to completely clear his mind of thought. He saw sense now however.

Blaise wasn't surprised that Draco hated his reasoning. A lot of people did. He couldn't help but look on the bright side of life. After all, there's no point worrying when most things can be fixed easily. Blaise always remembered people asking why he was in Slytherin, but it was a simple answer. He could become really nasty, get on the wrong side of a Zambini and your doomed. Not any people had seen this side of Blaise but Draco certainly had. "Well mend and make do, eh Malfoy?" Blaise said with a sigh as he stood up and walked across to the withered looking Blonde boy.
Blaise knew some of what Malfoy might of been going through, and he understood that his blunt responses were of no help to the poor boy, but Blaise thought that maybe he could figure out how to solve his problems on his own? He was a grown lad? If he did end up really needing help, then of course Blaise would be there, but if he was only complaning then he could go complain to some one else!
Blaise looked over Malfoy and waited on him to stand up so they could go do somthing more interesting or at least go somewhere a little lighter as the candles that lit the coridor where slowly dyeing.

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco's gaze fixed upon Blaise as he watched the other for a while. He blinked as the other Slytherin boy spoke before grunting slightly at his words. Currently, Draco wasn't quite in the mood for fun and games. If you asked him right now he'd probably be more than willing to sit here for hours. He quite liked it when it got dark. The darkness calmed him slightly. It was so, so mysterious, you could never tell what was there. So secretive.
Draco liked it. He could do anything in the dark. However, when he saw Blaise stand he sighed before mentally comanding his body to move. Slowly and reluctantly it did move. He straightened up his back first before collapsing his legs down to the ground. After that he bent one then, using the window sill as leverage he pushed himself to his feet. He regarded Blaise with one glance before looking up and down the corridor. "Alright, where to now Blaise?" he asked the other.
Personally, Draco just wanted to stay away from people, and just be with Blaise or Pansy or someone. However, sometimes people had other idea's so he could often find himself dragged around to places that displeased him. However, that normally only happened when he was in a certain type of mood. Unfortunately, this was one of those moods.

Blaise smiled softly, his perfectly structured cheek bones may of seemed girly but Blaise was quite pleased with them. When Draco stood up Blaise began to walk down the gloomy corridor. The air felt damp. The school had seemed to change after the time clash. The atmosphere was different to it had been before.
Blaise turned to see if Draco was following him. He knew that the depressed blonde boy wasn't really up for fun so he waited till he caught up. "Erm, we could just walk? Unless you have any other ideas?" Blaise said happily, trying to cheer up Draco. Blaise didn't really like seeing his friend down in the dumps so he began racking his brain to find a way to make him a bit happier. Blaise's little thinking face appeared which he did alot, thats how people knew why he was using his brain. Maybe he could get him a date with a boy, but he hadn't come out of the closet. Maybe they could go for a drink, but they would probably end up getting steaming and they would do something stupid. Blaise sighed as he drifted in to his own world. Draco was a hard person to please!

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco's eyes followed Blaise' movements down the corridor long before his body finally registered that they were now walking. Travelling on what seemed like autopilot he followed Blaise, his pace quickening automatically for him to walk besides the other, rather than behind. It wouldn't do for people to see Draco being lead around by Blaise. No, the idea, the visionary, of their group of friends was that Draco was the leader, Draco was in charge. However, right this very second, Draco was not.
A soft sigh slid through the blonde's delicate lips before before he shrugged slightly. "We can do whatever you want Blaise, i'm personally not bothered." He replied to the other, attempting to sound like his normal self. He knew Blaise would know it was only an attempt, but if anyone passed they wouldn't. To Draco, image was everything. If someone saw him in any way but as the Slytherin ice prince, that proved as trouble for him. He couldn't afford to have his cover blown.
He sighed and looked to Blaise. Seeing the other's thinking face, he knew it oh-so-well, he knew then that Blaise wanted to please him, to cheer him up. A slight frown marred his face before it became a nuteral look once more. "Blaise, why don't we I don't know, torment first years or get drunk or something?" The blonde suggested.
The suggestion of alcohol was not his means of flirting with Blaise, no he wouldn't do that, it was merely a suggestion of a way to completely clear his head. The only problem with beinga secret gay was that no one but Draco and the other person could know, or else. For Draco had gone all the way - both in school and one time when he stayed at Blaise's for a fortnight in the summer and they went out drinking one night...
Anyway! The fact of the matter was, Blaise didn't even know Draco had done anything with any guy here at Hogwarts. Draco liked it that way, though it did also mean he had to find them all by himself which kind of got irritating. Plus it was hard not to look suspicious, especially when he approached an openly gay or bisexual male. He shook his head at himself a little.

Blaise grinned. He had thought about drinking and then discarded the idea, but it turned Draco from miserable to happy then Blaise was ok with it. Blaise walked along side Draco as they walked slowly down to the end of the corridor. "We can get drunk then." Blaise smirked as he put his hand into the pockets of his black jumper that was a few sizes too big. "As long as you supply it or buy it! Cause the last time I got caught with drink, I was on detention for 2 months! Blaise said jokily.
Blaise kinda knew that Draco was trying to be his usual self. Being more talkative, making sure he wasn't walking behind Blaise, so he was happy that he was trying to get back on track. It must of been turning about eleven o'clock and Blaise was sure that if they were caught wandering around the school, drunk, after midnight then they would be in for it, but Blaise didn't care!
A large gust of wind swept past the two boys. Someone must of opened a door somewhere. It caused Blaise to shivver and feel the need to lift the hood of his jumper over his head. He did that alot. Some times when he had a bad hair day, but mainly when it was cold. He hated being cold! Especially in the winter and when he didn't have a girlfriend to hug! Draco never seemed to be effected by the weather. He could brave any storm, butBlaise would stay in bed all day if the rain was battering down on the old castle!

I KNOW I'M NOT ONE FOR LOVE • BUT ALL I ASK IS FOR ONE KISS Draco glanced around them, adopting his usual sneer as he saw the odd sixth year loitering around. He was tempted, only slightly, to take house points off them, just because he was a Slytherin prefect -- one of ten now. Hearing Blaise agree to the alcohol he looked at him before smiling slightly. "I thought you'd agree to that" He stated calmly to Blaise as he slid his hands into the pockets of his tight black pants.
Yes, Draco wore tight clothes. That way, it was harder for him to become aroused by his favourite scents or certain boys -- namey Harry Potter, or his own son Scorpius. Yes, Draco had a rather bothersome life trying to keep himself hidden and yet seen at the same time. "Alright, Why don't we go to the room of requirement? That can give us just what we need. I'm sure I saw something alcoholic hidden in there."
He knew Blaise disliked dentention - who did like it? - though he himself didn't much mind it. Well, not if he was already rewarded before he was punished. That made it all the more bareable. "Come on, it's about eleven now. We'll need to get in there before someone catches us." Draco stated to the other as he began on his way up to the room. He paused as he felt the large gust of wind, flinching instinctively at the chill.
He gave a slight shudder before glancing down at his sodden shirt. He frowned a little before wrapping his arms around himself in a solid effort to keep warm as he lead Blaise upstairs. With all the cold outdoors - along with the chances of being caught - Draco would deffinately prefer the room, and whatever it would hold this time. Though it appeared as though Draco wasn't effected by the weather, he actually was. He just forced himself not to think about it most of the time.

Blaise smiled lightly at Draco and followed him to the stairs. He walked quickly up the stone cold steps, almost running up to the seventh floor. Blaise thought it was a good idea that they went to the room of requirement, becuase no one would find them there! They could drink their sorrows away, make as much noise as they liked and no one would be there to stop them. As the moving stair cases glided through the air, Blaise gazed down to the empty floors below him. Everyone must of been back in their dorms by now and Blaise grinned as he thought of all the little people tucked up in their cosy beds! In no time they were dropped of by the stair on the seventh floor. Blaise stepped on the top step and smiled round at Malfoy as they began to walk quickly through the corridor untill they cam to the place where the room of requirement door normally appeared. Blaise stopped walking and turned around to look at Malfoy. The poor boy looked frozen. Blaise had a jumper on and a perfectly warm black t-shirt so he pulled of his jumper and handed it to Draco. "Here. Draco could of put it on over his top or take it off and put the jumper on but ether way, Blaise was happy for him to have it. Under his baggy jumper blaise had a figure hugging black v neck top that showed of his muscle. It had three small round buttons down the front, that sort of t-shirt was popular among most boys in his year. Blaise was sure the jumper would fit him, eventhough blaise was smaller in height, he was a bit bigger in the muscle. He thought that Draco had lost a bit of weight but you could never be sure!
